A $100 non-refundable deposit must accompany all orders in order to secure a spot in the class(es) of your choice. The balance of the tuition and fees is due no later than April 2, payable by check, money order, or credit card (via electronic invoice). Applications received after April 2 must include payment in full to be considered.

All payments less $100 are refundable until March 1, 2010. Cancellation after March 1 to April 1 results in a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellation after April 1 to June 1 results in a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellation after June 1 until June 13 results in a 75% cancellation fee. There are no refunds whatsoever for cancellation after June 13 for any reason. There is no adjustment in tuition for late arrivals or early departures. All cancellations must be in writing.

Academic Credit

All SILV classes are eligible to earn graduate credit through Southern Utah University. Interested students will be given the necessary forms and information on the first day of class. There is a small administrative fee per class.

In order to receive a passing grade, students seeking graduate credit may not miss more than half of a class day (four hours), and then only in cases of emergency or advance notice.

Scholarships

There are an extremely limited number of highly competitive tuition and fees scholarships available. To apply, submit the 2010 Scholarship form with your application.

Scholarship recipients are expected to help out before or after class or during lunch, if needed, and must attend all classes to remain eligible. If a scholarship student misses more than half of a class day (four hours per week) for a non-emergency cause, they will lose their scholarship and be asked to leave the program.
